How to configure manual Store closures within Nextail?

The Store closures option enables the engine to understand when a store had been closed in the past, to avoid considering it as a day with 0 sales and therefore decrease the future forecast. 

Sometimes when the “store status” cannot be updated through the Store master file, you can configure store closures one by one in each Store profile or through Data upload page. 

Store profile

Go to Master Data -> Stores, search by store name on the top right and click on the name to go to the details.

Once you are in the details of the store, on your right of the screen click on the"Edit" button:

Next, set the Close date on the open period section and then click on Save changes.

Data Upload

Go to Daily Data > Data upload, select the option "Store Closures" and choose the file to be uploaded.

Its headers must be named exactly as in the image below:

*You can configure future closures as well in case you already know the plan of closures
