Types of stock

Throughout Nextail you will find different types of stock. The definition of each is outlined below:

Commercial stock

This is considered commercial stock as soon as the store registers the units in the store system. The black bars on product cards represent the commercial stock available.

Transit stock

The stock on its way to stores is considered transit stock. Units being sent from the warehouse to stores or being transfered between stores will be represented by green bars on product cards.

Store stock

The store stock graph includes the commercial stock and the transit stock. The graph removes any negative commercial stocks to make the stock level that is or will shortly be available in stores as accurate possible.

Warehouse stock

The units that are available in the warehouse at a given time.
