Replenishment timeline
The replenishment timeline can be defined as the period that covers the stock forecast and the demand forecast.
Stock forecast
It is the period in which the engine estimates how many units will remain in the store until the next replenishment arrives. During that time, the picking & packing in warehouse takes place followed by the transportation of the goods until they arrive at the stores and are displayed.
Demand forecast
It is the period in which the engine estimates how many units are required to cover the demand during the planning horizon.
