How does the Store Transfers module work?

The Stores Transfers module helps you to maximize full price sales both at the ends of the product's life cycle and at any other point throughout the season.

This module analyzes millions of potential transfers, calculating the minimum number of trips that will generate the highest impact on sales in a few minutes.

The characteristics of this module:

• It is based on the demand forecast for each sku-store.
• It aims to maximize sales and minimize the number of trips (optimization).
• It is meritocratic: the product will concentrate in stores with the highest probability of sale.
• It allows the consideration of additional restrictions (number of trips, forbidden trips, cost per trips...) to model your operations.

With Store Transfers there is always a trade-off between leftovers and overstocks to achieve the best possible balance between sending and receiving stores. For example:

1. There is an overstock of size M in the receiving store when a leftover is removed from the sending store.

2. There is a leftover at the sending store when the size set is completed in the receiving store.
