Waybills to Stores
In order for Stores to be able to send the proposed units as part of the Store Transfer Scenario, we need to ensure that they receive the relevant information regarding their outgoing products and destination stores.
This is captured in the Waybill Document of the Scenario, and is sent to the stores' email address automatically when the scenario is submitted.
ℹ️The email addresses of the stores are provided by the customer through the Store Master file that we ingest daily during our Daily Ingestion and Optimisation process.
You can download this document by selecting the option from the three dots next to the Review Transfers button (top right corner) on the Store Transfer Summary page and selecting “Download Waybills”. It will be downloaded in html format.
This document contains the following information split into two sections:
Picking List
This section of the waybills is supposed to make store staff’s lives easier by aggregating all the relevant products they need to pick for the transfer, without the detail of the destination store. That information is included in the packing list.
ℹ️ The Picking list section can be removed/added from the waybills in case the customer would prefer it like that, by contacting the Nextail team.
The information found in this section is:
- Summary: Total amount of units to be picked, products and destination stores.
- Products grouped by Family, and Total Units to be picked per Family
For each product it is shown:
- Image (in case it has it on the Nextail platform)
- Product Reference
- Total units to pick in the origin store
- Product Name
- Sizes and number of units of each
- A checkbox next to each size
Packing List
This list outlines the products that need to be prepared, with details provided for each receiving store.
The information found in this section is:
- Packing header: The store listed in the title is the receiving store.
- Total units to be sent to each store.
- Packing items: Products organized by family, including the total units to be sent for each family and product.
For each product it is shown:
- Image (in case it has it on the Nextail platform)
- Product Reference
- Total units to pick in the origin store
- Product Name
- Sizes and number of units of each
- A checkbox next to each size
Small Waybills
Furthermore, there is the option to generate this information in a more compact format without images. This is downloaded from the same place, by selecting Download Waybills Small. This document gives an overview of the picking and packing lists using a product-size matrix with the number of units for transfer in each size, grouping the products according to family and size set.
Receiving Stores Waybills
By default, only the sending stores from a scenario will receive the waybills, but we also have the option of sending the "Receiving List Waybill" to destination stores to provide information for the origin of the products and units they are about to receive.
ℹ️This option can be enabled by the Nx Support team upon request.
The content for this section includes:
- The store in the title is the receiving store, and those that follow are the sending stores
- Header: Total products, total units, and total stores sending units
- Products grouped by families and total units to be received per family and product
Conclusion
This purpose of the store waybills document is to improve efficiency in the store by providing store staff with clear and relevant information needed to prepare their selection of products included in the store transfer.
The platform generates this information automatically from the store transfer scenario, further reducing need for manual intervention from users when executing a store transfer.
