Replenishment's Optimization
Nextail’s Replenishment algorithm is divided into two key phases: Demand Forecast and Global Optimization.
In the Optimization phase, Nextail algorithm will try to maximize the probability of sales for each unit while considering a wide range of business constraints. This phase allows us to refine the different inventory strategies to ensure products are allocated where they are most needed, balancing operational constraints and overarching business goals.
By leveraging the tools available in Nextail, you can tailor replenishment decisions dynamically, adapting with precision and efficiency to changing market conditions.
This phase will cover the key components of Optimization, including:
- Layout Master and Blocks: Manage product and SKU availability through layout configurations.
- Sales Thresholds: Define parameters to balance service levels and stock availability across your network.
- Visual Rules and Minimum Displays: Ensure strong displays and maintain a compelling shop-floor experience.
- Capacity Restrictions, Linked Lines and Prepacks: Understand how these parameters work to meet your business requirements effectively.
Equipped with these tools, you will be able to make data-driven decisions, optimize stock flows and align your inventory strategies with your business objectives.
