Why are no units being proposed to a store, even though there’s a high demand forecast and the product still has units available in the warehouse?
No units may be proposed to a store despite high demand and available warehouse stock due to one or more of the following reasons:
-
Maximum capacity reached
The store has a maximum capacity restriction that has already been reached. Check the Store Master file to verify if max_stock or max_order information is being transmitted. -
All SKUs blocked
The store has all SKUs blocked (or those specific SKUs with availability in the warehouse). -
Sufficient store stock
The store already has enough stock to cover the forecasted demand. -
Restrictive Visual Rules
The visual rules configured are too restrictive to be fulfilled, preventing any replenishment from being proposed to that store. -
High residual value with limited sizes
Only a few sizes remain in the warehouse, resulting in a high residual value. If the Sales threshold for that product is also high (e.g., >20%), the system may be trying to protect those last units. -
Linked product lines
The product is part of a linked line, and Nextail may be proposing replenishment for that store through a different product reference.
